The national digital billboard partnership between the charity Missing People, the Outdoor Media Centre and Grand Visual has reached a milestone with 100 people found safe and well having had their appeals feature on a billboard, since the campaign launched last summer.

The campaign, launched by Kate McCann last July to help find vulnerable missing people, is the largest Digital Billboard campaign in British history, and has seen ‘Weekly Appeals’ provide photos and details of individual missing people using advertising space donated by members of the Outdoor Media Centre.  The charity centrally controls the campaign and regionally targets appeals based on the persons last known whereabouts using the campaign management dashboard OpenLoop.
Marking the success of the partnership, Kevin Gosden, the father of missing Andrew from Doncaster, has made a fresh appeal for his son, who disappeared six years ago aged 14.  Kevin, who went to see the billboards for the first time with Andrew’s sister Charlotte Gosden, said:   “We’re really glad to have this opportunity to show Andrew’s appeal to so many people across the UK and urge anyone who sees any of them to stop and call the charity Missing People if they have any information.
“It’s great to see such great results from this partnership and we hope that many more people will benefit from these impressive billboards.”
Chief Executive of Missing People Jo Youle said:  "Digital billboards have proven to be an immensely powerful tool in the search for missing people, particularly young or vulnerable people. Finding 100 people safe and well is a great achievement and we are enormously grateful to the Outdoor Media Centre and all their members for their incredible support."

To date, more than 270 appeals have been published by the partnership. The campaign appears on a network of nationwide Digital Billboards donated by members of the Outdoor Media Centre.
