Film company Tallboy Communications has today released a powerful film to raise funds and awareness for their local charity Missing People’s Home for Christmas Appeal.

The short film features interviews with family members who are searching for their loved ones and are being supported by the charity, including; Peter Lawrence whose daughter Claudia went missing from York in 2009, Alexandra Hicks, whose brother Kevin went missing from Croydon in 1986, and Rachel Elias, whose brother Richard from the Manic Street Preachers went missing in 1995.

Simon Banks of Tallboy Communications said:   “We love making films, so are thrilled to give our resources to help a local charity, especially at this time of year when people really need the help of Missing People.  Hopefully the video - already set to be used at numerous events - will assist in what will surely be a special impactful Christmas appeal."
Jo Youle, Missing People Chief Executive said:   “The team at Tallboy have been so helpful with our appeal this year, offering us their expertise, facilities and the time of their filmmakers to really show our work from the perspective of those affected.   We know they public will respond to this fantastic material and we’re so grateful for the support.”
